Look What We Did

Our weekend turn out to be a nice weather. And this is where we spent it at...well at least the few minutes of it. Our kids had a blast and cannot stop picking apples. (Click the images to enlarge)

Apple PickingWe end up with 57 pounds of apples and my SIL hardly took anything with her. We still have about 40 pounds after she left. I better start drying, baking and mashing to preserve all of this. Would you like some?

Apples
You can find more images in my other blog at "In This life". I will be very busy and house will smell like apples until all of these are gone...I smell bake sale...lol.

I love apple picking. We just did that a couple weeks ago.
Really nice apples. My neighbor just gave me a bunch that looks almost like these. I've made two apple pies already. Edna

I think I''l be drying most of it. My family is not into pies right now and I don't want them to get bad. Holiday is still too far away for these apples.

My family is a little weird about pies, sometimes they like it so much sometimes they don't and I guess since we have a lot of apples they don't want other things...lol.

Thanks for stopping Edna.
