Baked Parmesan Chicken Strips

My children loves chicken nuggets, tenders, and strips. I found this recipe on my FB wall and I just have to try them for the sake of picky children. My youngest said it tasted just like the chicken strips at Great Adventure sells. And the best part is, my household eat it. Yes, all of my children and even my husband. I am a happy camper!

Strawberry Scones with Lemon Glazed

I bowed to myself that I will try most sweets that I find appealing. So, here is another one..."Strawberry Scones" it goes well with my breakfast tea. I used the same recipe for my "Blueberry Scones." The best time to make is during summer when I have abundant of strawberries and cheaper in my local grocery store.

Chicken of the Woods * Laetiporus Speciosus

I have so much mushrooms growing in my property. A lot of inedible kind, so what a lady to do? Join a mushrooms identification groups. I do try to remember all the edible kind. I will worry about the poisonous kind later. So, Chicken of the woods is one of the edible kind I found nine feet high on a dead tree in my backyard. Of course I asked so much questions before harvesting them. When I felt confidence enough, I picked it, wash the way the pro-mushrooms hunters suggested, and how to prepare. I opt on sauteing them in olive oil, garlic, onion, and I mixed green pepper slices and shrimp. Boy that thing gave me so much gas, and the earthly smell is over powering everything. Next year, if my family is still here, I will try deep frying it like regular chicken and have to see if I like them better. I still have left over in the freezer. And my husband forbid me to try any wild mushrooms while he is at work hehehe.

Broccoli & Cheese Bake Potato

This favorite of mine is very costly. Why you asked? Well, I ate it alone, and cooking one potato in a regular oven is a waste of electricity, in my opinion. I will be so happy if I can cook seven or even ten in one go. But no, not in this household 😄.
