Salmon Teriyaki


DH is not a very fond of fish unless they are totally process. He came home this afternoon with the whole house smelling like fish. I can get away with no skin, no bones and smothered with butter however, his favorite is breaded and deep fry. Three of my kids loves fish and the other two is just like DH.

I broiled them in a low setting. You will find the marinade recipe here. Enjoy!

Nah Te Mir, like my hubby he don't like if it's not cooked good. He just simply don't say anything t me and cook it again if I don't get how it cooked, so now I know because of your article Te Nedek.. thanks for sharing. Looks so yummy that made me hungry now.. ohhh I need to cook this now before I goes to school. Thanks a lot for the recipe Ate!

They are in season now a days. I am talking about mostly any fruits. Here is my version of mango float that similar Filipino goes gaga about. Like I mentioned in my previous post, the sugar in this recipe is the killer. I can have this maybe once a year and I still prefer just plain mango anytime. This one was taken after a few hours in the freezer. You can see the cream and milk mixture are still runny. This one is taken the next day, when frozen. It turns out that DH love it. The only complaint he got was the taste is not even. He still wanted to make ice cream with the same ingredients. I can't wait to see how it would taste.

French Toast

An updated version from last week . Like I promise I will take a better picture and better presentation and I think I did a better job this time. And I used sour dough bread this week. This one with only powder sugar on top. With powder sugar and maple syrup. And yes natural maple syrup is the best. There is nothing compare to bacon cooked in their fat and maple syrup. I could not even finish two pieces of toast. They are very heavy in my stomach.
